  • The CO2 emissions calculation uses the UK DEFRA (Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) factor of 3.15 metric tonnes (2204 pounds) of CO2 per 1.0 metric tonne of Jet A or 3.128 for AvGas
  • The fuel consumption used in the analysis has been obtained from the Aircraft Cost Evaluator database published by Conklin & de Decker. The default CO2 offset cost value is a typical average cost as of January 1, 2009
  • Aircraft manufacturers, dealers and brokers may copy the CO2 emissions and mitigation cost analyses produced by this tool to support their aircraft sales activities provided no money is charged for the analysis and the Conklin & de Decker copyright is shown on all pages.
  • Companies that sell CO2 offset credits may not use the CO2 emissions and mitigation cost analyses produced by this program in support of their CO2 offset sales activities without express, written consent of Conklin & de Decker Associates, Inc. and a license agreement.
