 Conklin & de Decker's Founder

Bill de Decker - Chairman of Board

Bill's experience includes sales engineering, market research, and aerodynamic design. His responsibilities range from consulting studies to developing new programs and seminars for the company. Areas of expertise include financial management, business and fleet planning, certification issues, life cycle cost and operations. From 1976 to 1989, Bill managed the Falcon and Bell Learning Centers, as well as, the Communications Systems Division for FlightSafety International. Prior to 1976, Bill worked for Dassault Falcon Jet and Boeing. He has a Master of Science in Engineering/ Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. He is located in the Texas office.

Nel Stubbs - Vice President and Corporate Secretary

Nel joined Conklin & de Decker in 1999 and has been in the business aviation industry for more than twenty-five years. She consults with numerous companies and individuals on aviation tax related matters at both the federal and state levels and has extensive experience in the areas of tax planning, cost and financial analysis, budgeting, aircraft ownership, operating structures and tax audits. She is instrumental in developing and supporting the Conklin & de Decker seminar program and marketing efforts. Nel was formerly with the National Business Aviation Association and developed the tax program during her tenure and was very instrumental in developing the NBAAs first comprehensive aircraft cost comparison program. Nel has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Master of Aeronautical Science.  
 
Christine Preston - Meeting Planner and Marketing Coordinator

Christine joined Conklin & de Decker in June of 2004. Christine manages all aspects of Seminar and Meeting planning for Conklin & de Decker, including the Commercial Operators Tax Seminar, Aircraft Acquisition Planning Seminar and the Exploring Aircraft Operating Cost Seminar. In addition, Christine is an integral part of the marketing team in promoting renewals and releases of various products. Christine utilizes her expertise to manage the company's social media in regards to the marketing and networking of: Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn.  Christine is also a Certified SalesForce Administrator and is responsible for maintaining SalesForce to properly control our customers subscriptions & to make the process easier internally, as well as for the customer.
 

 Massachusetts Office

The Massachusetts office specializes in general billing and shipping questions, regarding online purchases, products, seminars, and consulting projects. David Wyndham - President   

David joined Conklin & de Decker in 1993. His primary responsibilities include developing and managing new programs for the company, conducting consulting studies, managing aircraft cost and performance databases, and providing customer computer support. David was an Instructor Pilot with the US Air Force for eight years handling aircrew training, operations scheduling, and coordination of flight test support with civil and military test engineers. David has a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire. He also has an ATP certificate.
 
Renee Andre - Office Manager

Renee was the first to be employed at Conklin & de Decker in 1987. She currently manages the company accounting system, as well as, assists with shopping cart orders and customer service. Renee's accounting expertise is utilized through company billing and keeping Conklin & de Decker's accounting books up to date. She graduated from Cape Cod Community College with an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and prior to working for Conklin & de Decker, she worked in the banking and jewelry industry.
 
Paige Velie - Administrative Assistant

Paige has been working at Conklin & de Decker since 2008. Her primary responsibilities involve performing office administrative duties, data entry tasks, order processing, and customer service. She helps manage the accounting department when necessary and is typically the first line of communication for the Massachusetts office. Prior to Conklin & de Decker, Paige worked over 20 years for a printing company in Massachusetts as a Pre-Press Supervisor, Estimator, Print Sales Supervisor, Production Manager, and customer contact for all print jobs.

Texas  office

The Texas office specializes in product support and customer inquiries on the following products: Aircraft Cost Evaluator, Aircraft Performance Comparator, Life Cycle Cost, MxManager, and other general questions. Brandon Battles - Vice President and Treasurer

Brandon has been with Conklin & de Decker since 1995. His current primary responsibilities include oversight of the company’s various products and their development, analysis of business processes, and research of operating cost and performance data. He is also involved with consulting and several of the company’s seminars. Areas covered by his consulting work include fleet evaluations, acquisition planning, review of business processes in maintenance organizations, and analysis of maintenance costs. Brandon’s background is in accounting and prior to joining Conklin & de Decker, he worked for Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. as its Manager of Direct Operating Cost Programs.
 
Naomi Carroll - Strategic Project Portfolio Manager

Naomi joined Conklin & de Decker in 1998. Naomi is responsible for overseeing the company’s project portfolio. She presents at the company’s Maintenance Management Seminars, PMI Chapter events and provides on-site training for organizations across the United States. In addition, Naomi oversees the continued evolution of MxManager. Naomi earned her Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) in 2008 from the Project Management Institute, and is an active member of the Institutes regional chapter. She served as the chapter's Vice President of Certification and received the Board Member of the Year in 2009.
 
Ron Garis - Product Manager

Ron has been in the aviation industry for over 30 years. He joined Conklin & de Decker in 2002 after 20 years as an Avionics Maintenance Supervisor in the U.S. Air Force. Ron is currently the Product Manager for the Aircraft Cost Evaluator, Aircraft Performance Comparator, Life Cycle Cost and State Tax Guide programs. He manages all aspects of these programs to include software development, data research, program updates and customer service. Ron graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a Master of Science in Aeronautical Science and a Bachelor of Science in Management of Technical Operations.
 
Andrew Trick - Research Analyst

Andrew joined Conklin & de Decker in July 2013 and is responsible for the research of cost and performance data.   Andrew also works with the updating of CDA website and support of MxManager. Andrew graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Aviation Management. Andrew has worked in Airport Outreach and managed the 2013 SAFECON Competition before joining Conklin & de Decker.  Andrew is also a Private Pilot.
 
Mark Gomez - Research Analyst

Mark has been in the aviation industry for over 12 years. He joined Conklin & de Decker in 2015 after 11.5 years as an avionics maintenance technician in the U.S. Marine Corps.  While In the Marine Corps he worked on KC-130T models and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant.  Mark will be responsible for the research of performance data in support of the Aircraft Performance Comparator and other Conklin & de Decker products. Mark graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in January 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics and a Minor in Safety.
